About Daily Memories Studio 26
Hello everyone and Welcome! I'm Glenda, your friendly photographer and owner of Daily Memories Studio 26 and this is my husband Rob (co-owner).
A lot of times I get asked, what made me get into photography. I usually just say it makes me really happy and it's my passion. But what I don't tell them is the real reason why. I grew up with barely any childhood pictures. There are times when I wish I have pictures to share when telling stories about it. Ever since I was young, I have very wide imagination. I always envision of how things, nature and people would look in a frame. Growing up with no TV or electronics, I didn't know much of what the world looked like outside our town, until I moved here at the age of 13.
Fast forward to when I first bought an SLR, around early 2000, I started taking landscape photography. I was very proud of my unedited printed photos. I thought it was so professional. I would frame them and hang in our walls. Until I upgraded to a DSLR when I gave birth to my youngest daughter now fifteen. I started taking my kids photos, friends, and family members' pictures. And eventually became a side gig for me while working night shifts as a Med technician in a senior living for 13 years.
From landscape and portraits, I knew I could do more with my camera. I started doing projects with commercial buildings, real estates, brands, events, and after meeting my husband, I have also fallen in love with aviation photography. Who knew that at my first time photographing an airshow, I was actually taking pictures of my future husband flying.
It's always been my dream to open a photography studio in Camarillo. I didn't think it would be possible. With my husband's love and support, my dream turned into reality. We created a family-friendly, cozy and welcoming space for our clients. You will be treated like a family guest. I assure you; you will have fun during your session, and you will leave the studio feeling confident like a model. So please feel free to ask any questions. I'm very approachable.
